As far as surprises go, an NFL team drafting a cornerback in the third round doesn't usually cause a change in anyone's vital signs.

Another day, another cornerback added to the roster of the Arizona Cardinals . This time, the Cards decided to go with Justin Bethel, a defensive back out of Presbyterian.

It was reported early Tuesday that Greg Toler , a restricted free agent for the Arizona Cardinals , had agreed to stay with the team through at least next season by signing his tender offer.

The other day, the Arizona Cardinals brought in a pair of defensive backs for a visit, likely to replace the departed Richard Marshall .

"Sounds cliche but we just got to see how it progresses," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said.
