Bears Look to Bolster Backfield w/ Signing of RB Kevin Jones

Kevin Jones is moving from one NFC North team to another, as today the former Lions back inked a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears , a team that could use a quality running back to help out their backfield.

I think its a great move for the Bears Kevin was a productive entity with the Lions untill he got hurt...The lions offensive line was awful and he still gained positive yards...I think the aquisition of Kevin Jones in their backfield will go a long way toward bringing the Bears back to respectability in the league !!

I hate to see him leave Detroit and end up in Chicago, now the Bears have at least one positive move that they've made in this off season.

they definititely needed to do something. this move cant possibly hurt the team. its not a huge addition but it is ten times better than the other moves they have made so far. benson sucks, forte wont ever be anything more than a mediocre back up, lost two WR's and replaced them with less talented recievers, didnt take mendenhall over williams which was a dumb move, wont give up grossman, wont start orton over grossman, and the o-line is getting old.
