ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- As the Denver Broncos near their fourth and final preseason game, the team is starting to get ready for the season, and that means doing something that most coaches don't like to do.
Broncos cut seven players, including corner Nate Jones
Cornerback Nate Jones, who played in all 16 games for the Broncos last season, was among seven players waived this morning as the team trimmed its roster to 80 players.
The Morning After: Preseason Week 1
Notebook: The defense showed improvement under new Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen; Brady Quinn impresses.
FINAL: Dallas Cowboys 24 - Denver Broncos 23
Of course, losing SUCKS, even in the Pre-Season, but seeing the Orange and Blue on the field again was well worth the wait.
