Consistent play at the net Tuesday and setting up the offense by Storm Van Soldt and Sam Greenleaf paved the way to victory for the Oak Ridge High boys volleyball team in its Sac-Joaquin Section Division I out-bracket playoff match against visiting Laguna Creek.

On the same day the Arizona Cardinals officially kicked off their 2012 offseason program, the team re-signed three of its own restricted free agents.

For the last couple years, Saginaw Valley State has learned the lessons of youth by fielding a largely inexperienced roster.
