The Green Bay Packers waived running back Brandon Saine Wednesday morning, according to his agent Joe Flanagan .

The 24-year-old Saine appeared in six games for Green Bay in 2012. He suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Green Bay's Week Six win at Houston and missed the remainder of the campaign.
