A question of safeties

Full story: Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal

Probably the least visible starter on the Green Bay Packers' defense this summer has been strong safety Atari Bigby.

I'm not nearly as concerned with the safeties as the LBs. Of the LBs penciled in to start on the inside, they have a total of 1 tackle and two assists. That seems "invisible" to me. Who will play and who should play is far from settled. Our main competition in the division, the Bears and Vikings, have strong ground games. The LB unit needs to be ready by week one.

Im thinking Barnett will be ready to go,so that will help.Hawk gets on board and gets with it,then they are strong in the middle.Kampman seems to be doing very well for himself and theres still Bishop,Poppinga ( who is really getting along with Kevin Greene and learning alot and has grown alot this off season) Chillar and hopefully Mathews get it.I think they will be ok.
Im curious to see if Anthony Smith wins a starting spot presuming its Atari Bigby/s spot.

As I said, LBs are not settled. The latest is that Chillar will play, instead of Hawk, in nickel packages. That could reduce Hawk's playing time by more than half. If Bishop plays at all, Hawk, Chillar or Barnett will be coming out of the game on those snaps. Let's hope the coaches find the right mix ASAP.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
