A pair of players who spent last year on the practice squad both were injured this week and their chances of making the team or even returning to the practice squad, have virtually ended.

The Cowboys cut second-year linebacker Alex Daniels and second-year cornerback Ross Weaver after Tuesday afternoon's practice, giving them 85 players on their training camp roster.
