Full story: www.thesun.co.uk

GARDENER Lionel Partridge did a quack double-take when he harvested this marrow — and found it was in the shape of a DUCK. The freakish veg came complete with a beak, head, neck, body and tail.

What's this, a reincarnation of Cliffie Claven from Cheers?
I'll be NO ONE has ever seen an oddly shaped squash or gourd before...it's uncanny!

I wonder if it could be dried and preserved somehow, without rotting and without altering it's appearance too much?

Isn't nature wonderful.. It made a decoy duck so that the rest of the ducks would know where to stop for a quick snack on their way south for the winter...
:o)
Gloria I'm with you about shellacing that squash and keeping it as a decoration...

It could also be used to scare the heck out of bad ducks...
Just show them what happens when they misbehave... hahahahahaha

Too good and cute to be true. You can grow gourds and 'house them' inside a square box/thing, or a triangular shape box/container, or a round, rectangular container......and the gourd will grown inside the container until it's 'restricted' and continues to 'fill it in'......bingo! You have a manly shaped gourd. That's all. This 'gardener' is something else......duh!

Daily Horoscope for February 10

Pisces

You might feel like having a little flutter, but it's not a good day to do so, especially if you want to bet in coin of the realm. If you feel like a bit of extreme shopping, cancel that thought as well. It's a better day to be asking yourself some questions about what you really want out of life. Take a risk with your destiny, not your dollars. Put yourself on the line to learn something new.
