Food Festival News

A local pub and restaurant is launching a book of recipes and stories from the kitchen to coincide with a food festival this weekend.

Visitors can expect a large outdoor market at Victoria Street with lots of street food to take away as well as 60 stallholders and competitions including The Great Burnham Bake-Off. Since making its debut in the town last year, the event has expanded to include chefs and experts demonstrating their skills and passing on tips for healthy eating.

Local food and drink will the order of the day for the third Great Malvern Food Festival on Saturday, when the town centre will be filled with tempting smells and flavours from 10am to 5pm.

Record crowds turned out for the ninth Devizes Food & Drink Festival on Saturday to enjoy the fantastic range of foods on offer as well as the cooking demonstrations.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church will hold the 2013 Strawberry Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 25, on the church grounds in Heathsville.

Leeds and Partners has overhauled the festival, which will now take place over two weeks and three weekends from May 24 to June 9.
