Years in the making , Bravo has finally finished filming its newest series, Best New Restaurant , and today announced the full roster of restaurants set to appear on the show. Host Tom Colicchio - along with a roster of guest hosts - will judge 16 restaurants in four cities over the course of the series.

Four French chefs are requesting a waiver to serve a long-banned delicacy - a small songbird called the ortolan that fans including late President Francois Mitterrand used to devour, bones and all, while wearing a napkin over their heads. The request for the once-a-year waiver is being lodged among others by Alain Ducasse, the internationally acclaimed chef with a top 3-star rating from the Michelin gourmet dining guide, Le Parisien newspaper reported.
