Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is expanding his restaurant empire in the United States with the opening of another British pub in Atlantic City, New Jersey. After locations in Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles, Ramsay has announced plans to open an outpost of his Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City, where guests will nosh on traditional British fare like bangers and mash and fish and chips from the Michelin-starred chef.

Four French chefs are requesting a waiver to serve a long-banned delicacy - a small songbird called the ortolan that fans including late President Francois Mitterrand used to devour, bones and all, while wearing a napkin over their heads. The request for the once-a-year waiver is being lodged among others by Alain Ducasse, the internationally acclaimed chef with a top 3-star rating from the Michelin gourmet dining guide, Le Parisien newspaper reported.
