I hope Joe Jackson is not allowed to have access to these children. How he can sleep at night after the abuse he gave his children....especially Michael...and, to think that he could go to the BET award show? How many parents would have been able to sit through a parody of their dead son's life and smile and clap? Then, at the press conference with Al Sharpton, Joe defended his decision to go to the awards show, and promoted his new record business.....unbelievable.

The man never said anything to that effect. He said his grand daughter wanted to do something but not what it would be. He said his little grand son was a dancer not that he would necessarily be in show business.

Now, don't let MJ's relationship with his father cast the old geezer in a bad light. He did nothing to MJ worse than the average father of that day. He is not worse more than all other men.

He benefitted MJ. Without his father, MJ would not have had the opportunity to become he whom we know. MJ squandered his opportunites like many of us do wallowing in narcissistic self pity. MJ was not a victim. He chose the life he had and his own fate. Don't subject his daddy to a beatdown and denigration because of it. He never made MJ into a drug addict. In fact, had his daddy been his manager this year, MJ would be alive and thriving.

Katherine Jackson was named guardian over those kids. Joe Jackson and her have been separated for years. Any and all decisions will be made by her unless a judge decides differently come Monday morning.

That man hasn't learned his lesson yet? Those children should be able to live a life as normal as possible. Michael Jackson seemed to be so far out of touch with reality but when did he ever really get treated like just another person?
