Now, I'm being serious. Cause I don't know. How does it help to replace one drug with another?

yes its a drug and it is stronger than most pain pills and makes you sick if you try to smoke cigarettes while under the influence of it it is very dangerous and the only reason that most addicts want the clinic in somerset is because that it gets you more high than painers and can be sold for a much higher price than regular pain pills it is very profitable

The health care system is changing and all those doctors see dollar signs when they hear -Clinic- it's just another word for kill the weak and make lots of money.Clinics are above the law our grave yards are full of the proof of that fact. The devil also comes in a little brown bottle.

If a new health care system is voted in the pain clinics will be history and that will be a good thing. because you will only be allowed per person just so much pain meds without having a dire medical conditon like cancer. broken bones will have pain meds cut off in a matter of a few weeks. Its one good thing about it. that is why most doctors and pharmacys are kicking on it so much.

Some doctors write those pain prescriptions out way to easy. I told my doctor about how much my back had been hurting and instead of checking my back or sending me to someone that is a back specialist,He automatically wrote me a pain pill prescription. I didn't get them, just tore the prescription up and tossed it to the wind.

Well, if you feel he did something inappropriate why don't you report him to the state medical board forgotten one?

I am always curious why people go to doctors seeking pain medications and then complain when they recieve it. There are just so many stereotypes and misconceptions on this board.

I wasn't seeking pain medications, had I been I would have taken what he prescribed me.I was hoping to maybe have a MRI done on my back or something of that sort to find out why it gives me so much pain.

A physician will prescribe an MRI only if necessary. They typical backache is treated with bedrest and adjuvant therapies and is usually caused by some type of strain, unless there is a history of chronic pain or some underlying issue a scan will not be done. If said therapies do not work and pain is still present or increasing... at that point a scan will be done.

Look who is back on topix giving advice, the same doctor who claims to make 500K a year in Maryland that not only thinks smarter then everyone, but also admits being a 5 yr addict doing surgeries. Thought you were going to stay off topix and stop giving your medical advice until you get cleaned up. Seems you like to follow these methadone forums like it is your drug of choice. People read enough of your two sided opinions and for a doctor that is so smart, why don't you go have a conversation with real doctors who can help you get off drugs.

No, never said that. I am not sure what you mean by clean since I am not using drugs. Again, I am not sure why you feel the need to follow me around with lies and personal attacks but none of it is true. Please, concentrate on yourself.

How about you getting a real job and stay off somerset topix for your therapy session. The more you post the more it is obvious you are trying to convince yourself that hiding behind a screen name is a good way to cry for help. IF you are a doctor as you preach and obsessed with posting on a methadone discussion, why don't you talk to a few well respected doctors to help you use that 500K income you brag about and get some needed emergency help with your issues, before you try and treat another pateint please find a way to fix your own obsession with drug use.

Sure you did, if so why not tear it up or give it back to the dr.
