Left for a job and have lived in 4 other states before returning to ohio recently. Checked with BMV several times over the years so I could make arrangements to settle up and there has never been anything on my driving record. Got an Ohio license and plates several months ago and was stopped today for a warrant from this. What's gonna happen?
You will have to deal with the charges now and should contact an attorney immediately to discuss. Good luck.
if i failed first test in probation ? do i've second chance ? what will happen if it Jill time how many days ? i'm international student The probation will start after the court ?
It appears that you have a lot of questions regarding your case and they are not all real clear as to what you are...
am I just allowed full driving until the case is decided, meaning if guilty of OVI would I lose license for a period of time at that point?? I refused to blow....
Yes you would lose you license. You may be eligible for privileges after the requisite time, but the biggest problem is...
I got my dui last night at 6 am because my car was parked on the side of a suburban road, asleep, with light vomit on my clothes. I don't remember stepping into the car and I don't remember taking a blood test but I scored a really high blood alcohol content level, that I was to the emergency room. Should I plead no contest or get a lawyer?
You should hire an attorney or apply for the public defender. Even as a juvenile an OVI can carry serious consequences....
This would have been my third DUI (First in 2001 in California, Second in 2003 (2 months prior) in Ohio). I was arrested and given an OR, but never went to court. Instead I moved back to California to go to rehab, had some more struggles, but have been sober since 2006. I haven't had a DUI since. DMV in California has given me my license back, but they claim I need to clear up this charge in order to renew my license. I no longer have any ties to Ohio (I was only there for college), and live a completely different life now. I know that I need to clear this up for many reasons, but I don't even know where to approach it,being that I live out of state. Do they do alternative sentencing for people who live and work out of state? Also have a failure to pay fines warrant from prior dui.
The only good option is for you to hire an attorney near where the charge is pending who can file an appearance and try...
I got charged with a 2nd OVI after I swerved to miss a deer and struck a guardrail, my vehicle was totaled and another car stopped to help me. I wasnt drunk but I was very "out of it" from the accident as it was pretty bad. I did hire an attorney, but was wondering if there was anyway to avoid Jailtime or the hefty license suspension?
I could give you all sorts of scenarios and I understand that you are worried about the outcome. But the only person...
