No accident or crash. Havent had any tickets for over 10 years. Rarely drink... whats could be rhe maximum suspension and penalty ?
First, just because some machine tells you a magic number, do not assume that you are guilty or that they will be able...
I have a third owi which i got within 3 months of my second, which I have yet to go to court for. The bail terms of the second were no driving without a valid license and no driving with any level of alcohol in my system. So, accompanying my third owi is misdemeanor bail jumping charge, as well as a criminal driving with a revoked license charge. I'm most curious about the bail jumping charge and how they tend to affect the overall sentencing, but if anyone has any information on the overall sentencing itself, estimates of any kind in part or in whole, it would be greatly appreciated information. (my bac for my third was above .20). Thank you!
You need to discuss your OWI bond violation with your attorney. Knowing that you are now facing up to two years in...
I was charged with OWI second offense >.15. My license has been administratively suspended. I have not been convicted yet for the OWI. I do expect a conviction. Since the DOT suspended for PAC, I am eligible for an occupational license immediately. If I get an occupational license before I am convicted for the OWI will I be required to re-apply to satisfy the second offense waiting period and likely ignition interlock requirements?
I strongly suggest using avvo to find a couple of local DUI attorneys, most of whom will offer free consulations. The...
Had a DUI dismissed due to lack of evidence but DMV still upheld their decision and I need SR-22 insurance. Now I'm moving from CA to WI, will the Wisonsin DMV still make me carry SR-22 insurance to get a license?
I would just contact the Wisconsin DMV directly. They have an online email inquiry form where you can put in your...
Daughter, 16, was stopped for a missing tail light, driving a friend home in his car; no other passengers; first offense. Blew 0.03 at the arrest site, 0.02 at the police station. If she pleads guilty, what will happen? How long will it remain on her record? (Arresting officer told her it would be expunged after age 18.) Any issues of law that would potentially obviate the charge, such as jurisdiction or probable cause, that might be worth pursuing? Will my insurance triple? Her license was not confiscated and is not suspended at this time. Will this affect her college and employment opportunities? Other than this, she has never had any law violations and has been an excellent student (3.8 GPA).
Please note that at 16 a person is an adult for traffic law purposes. So there driving record is accessible by those...
Facing 3rd DWI and won the refusal hearing on basis of: Possibility vs. Probability. Motion hearing to dismiss based on lack of probable cause for arrest...What might happen?
You should be asking your lawyer, although if you won a refusal hearing without one you are doing well.
Probable...
