Two men were arrested and now face charges of robbery following a home invasion robbery Wednesday night, according to Vincennes Police. At around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the 400 block of Depot Street in Vincennes in reference to a home invasion armed robbery that had just occurred. Comment?

A southwestern Indiana woman faces theft charges for allegedly stealing nearly $10,000 from the Knox County Parks Department. A State Board of Accounts audit performed last fall but released this week accuses 25-year-old Amberly Pennell of taking just over $9,800 while working in the Knox County Parks Department office during the first half of 2014. The report accuses 25-year-old Amberly Pennell of taking just over $9,800 while working in the department office between January and July in 2014. Comment?

Despite what seems like an unusual number of crime in an area just about a block from Vincennes University, students living at the center of one of the crime hot beds, still feel safe.
