I live in Tennessee, but I go to school in Indiana.
You will have to hire a criminal defense attorney to help you with the charge as well as the suspended license. There...
I had a BAC of .31 last night. I don't remember hitting a parked car, but apparently somebody followed me home and called the police. The police entered my house where I live with my cousins. They took me from my room and brought me to jail. I blew .31 at my house and then .23 at the jail. This is my first offense. I've never been arrested. What can I expect in Indiana? I realize that I need help, but I'm 21 years old and in college and I really can't afford prison. My parents are hiring a lawyer.
allow your parents to hire the lawyer and listen to the advice that they give you. good luck
I was given a DUI for having marijuana in my system while driving. I was originally pulled over for rolling through the stop sign, cop said he smelled weed in my car, so and so forth. Had to sit in jail. Got a court date. Got sentenced to 40 hours comm service and Evaluation @ A&D. Is there anything I can do to get this dismissed or something? I really wasn't intoxicated while driving and I think having to through the whole jailing process was enough time wasted for all of this. I don't want to make it sound like money is an issue but I have no plans on paying them the amounts I owe in court costs.. It's like throwing money away. What are my options and best outcome of the situation?

For example this cop who is a DUI enforcer himself gets a way with a DUI. While a person like myself who isn't in the car, who has his keys in his pocket and is far away from the car gets his first DUI. Just not sure how the justice system is working here. Here's the story about the cop and his DUI: http://www.wkrn.com/story/24535856/franklin-dui-officer-avoids-arrest-after-being-found-passed-out-in-car-at-bar Prior to my arrest I had a perfect driving record (12 years of driving at the time). I don't expect any answers to this question. I'm just stating the truth that cops themselves can get away with crimes that normal people would be arrested for.
The quality of your lawyer helps. Some of us are at 100% success on these kinds of cases
absentia six weeks ago, gave me what I have to do, but isn't clear about abiding by GA laws or IN.
Your question is a big confusing. You handle the DUI by hiring a GA attorney, which it seems as though you already have....
