I lost my liscense and was eligible to have a reexam in 03. I went to prison in 05-09. So now I am trying to get it back. I have no tickets now. They say I need a sub. abuse eval. 10 panel drug test and proof of 6 mnonth abstinence aand letters from people who know me. I have no money for the former...how can I obtain these things? Do I need counsil? WHat to expect...please help.

I got an OWI in May 2012 which was reduced to OWVI and sentence in Dec. 2012. I was "investigated" (because it was said in court that it was not a "routine traffic stop") by police because on the night of my arrest as I sat in my vehicle ('94 Plymouth Voyager) in the driveway of the home of a friend in Bloomfield Hills. It was there I was questioned as to why I was at the residence, and thus leading to FST and BAC breath test, blowing .082 in the driveway! I consented to a chemical blood test which proved I was at .07 BAC and because at the time I was threaten by the officer to have my license suspended. Although I am on probation for an OWVI, and have paid well over the $500 fine in court costs, a lawyer, probation, JAMS, and WWAM. I want an appeal.

in April 2010 my husband was sentience to 4 months in jail, 3 months rehab, 6 months on the alcohol tether and now due to be off probation may 2013,will he be able to get off probation if he has not paid his fines or completed community services? this was his 5th DUI but was given a Felony 3rd offense...needless to say he also lost his license...will he ever get that back? he wasn't given mandatory AA so he does not go...what does the future look like?

So I was pulled over for no turn signal and crossing a line (although dash video doesn't show) by the small local municipality who are known to profile bars on Sunday morning at 1 am, April 6, 2012. I do have a lawyer looking into the "right to a speedy trial" and the stop itself, but is this really possible for them to come at me a year later?

I thought I was going to experience an interlock violation. When I had my device re calibrated the next day, I had already familiarized myself with Michigan law, which states that "a violation will not occur if a retest failure is passed within 5 minutes of the initial failure. I was assured by an employee of the interlock company that I was well within my time limit and that no violation information would be sent to the state. Fast forward 2 weeks, and I receive violation information in the mail. If I thought I would receive a violation, there are lab tests that can prove that I wasn't drinking.
