Could I go to jail?
I had a dui in 2008 and went to diversion, completed everything and it was all taken care of. I got a second dui in 2012 I paid off all my fine with bail money but I failed to do the classes and community service. Yesterday I got pulled over and got charged with dws and was arrested for a warrent I wasn't aware of. I've been bailed out for 2500. I'm just wondering if I will or how much jail time I'll have to serve. I want to avoid this at all costs. I just got into a medical school for my career. What should I do to avoid any jail time? What are the best options I have from here?

I recently received a DUI while visiting Oregon state on wendsday. (I am canadian )
I was on the side Of the road putting a address in my gps. Springfield police pulled up behind to ask what I was doing. They smelt beer on my breath and did roadside test and arrested me for dui. I did not blow and coperated the whole time. I posted 1500$ bail and requested an attorney. I am now back in canada and have a court date set for dec 16th... What are my options ? The arresting officer also called me last night and told me he had filed out paper work wrong and that new paper work would be sent to me. He checked the box that I had failed the breath test. But in all reality I did not do a breath test. How will this affect my canadian drivers licence? is there point to fight it ? Or go with diversion? and can I do that being in canada. ?
You should contact a competent DUI attorney who can help you through the process. Often times a person in your...

Is it grounds for a DUI when taking a person into custody for being intoxicated but not driving?
My friend was arrested for a DUI; however, he was only in the car looking for his credit card when he was met by the police. My friend was intoxicated, but he was not driving nor did they have the keys in the ignition at the time. Therefore, is it legal to have been taken into custody for a DUI?
In order for a person to be convicted of the crime of driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), there must be...
7 years ago I was arrested for DUI and I didn't do diversion. I just got pulled over for speeding and arrested. What to expect?
I received the DUI 7 years ago blowing a .19. I did all the judge ordered besides the diversion. The # they gave me to call for it never once got an answer or voicemail so I called the police station and they gave me a different # and that number didn't work either, so being a stupid 23 year old I said screw it and didn't pursue it further. Now 7 years later I got pulled over for speeding and was arrested for a warrant. What I was charged with was FTA, I never once got anything in the mail or anything and have been pulled over in that city since the DUI and nothing. Im not trying to pass the blame, I understand it was my poor choices that have got me here. I have nothing else on my record and am just curious what I should expect and an idea of the best case scenario as far as punishment.
First, FTA (Failure to Appear) as a crime requires that one KNOWINGLY fail to appear for a court date. If you didn't...
