A Lane County man is facing attempted murder and second-degree assault charges following a shooting at a yard sale. The Eugene Register-Guard reports that on Monday 34-year-old Phillip Wayne Bregg pleaded not guilty to nine charges, which also included two counts of strangulation. 1 comment

KHQ News reported today that that the July 9th officer-involved shooting of a dog in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was ruled unjustified. The dog, named Arfee, died from his injuries. Comment?
