An Ellington woman who stole $1.7 million from the South Windsor law firm where she worked as a paralegal and served about 40 months in federal prison for the crime has been arrested again, this time on a charge of stealing from a Glastonbury hair salon where she worked as a receptionist. Patricia Baddeley Meehan, 49, also known as Patricia Meehan, was charged with third-degree larceny Jan. 2 by Glastonbury police. Comment?

Manchester police arrested a 21-year-old New York state man on Tuesday on an accusation that he vandalized several properties and businesses along Main and Center streets, NBC Connecticut reported . After an investigation into the vandalism, which occurred last November, police concluded that Frank Baixauli of Ellenburg Depot, NY was responsible for the damage, according to the report. Comment?

Police say a Manchester man learned about the scope of a protective order when he accompanied a woman he was prohbited from contacting to the South Windsor police station. Corey Birch, 20, tagged along when the woman went to the station on Friday to report a robbery and assault that had occurred earlier that day, police spokesman Lt. Comment?

Three months after a convenience store in South Windsor was robbed by a man armed with a knife, police have made an arrest in the case. Authorities say 32 year old Joseph Dennis of Vernon held up the Oakland Road convenience store in September and made off with several hundred dollars. Comment?

The 57-year-old Agawam mothe r who allegedly used her daughter with Down syndrome to carry out a larceny at Target in November has been identified as Pamela Meyer. Meyer is facing a larceny over $250 charge stemming from a Nov. 21 incident at the store, according to Hadley police . Comment?
