After being arrested for his involvement in two bank robberies last July, a Harrison County man has received sentences for both crimes. William Arney Amos, 35, of Shinnston, was order to serve no less than 10 and no more than 25 years in prison Tuesday by Marion Circuit Court Judge David R. Janes for robbing the Marion Square branch of WesBanco back on July 31. West Virginia State Police arrested Amos after he came into the bank with a knife, received money, lied to the tellers saying there was a bomb outside and threatened to blow it up if any called the authorities before he left.
