BURGLARY SUSPECTS CHARGED: The two 20-year-olds arrested after a burglary west of The Junction last Friday are now officially charged, accused of ransacking the house while a resident hid in a closet ; they were found hiding in a shed outside a house less than a block away. As we reported here on Monday , James Michael French and Donchevell Delraye Williams both have records, including assault convictions, and both got out of prison the same day, less than 3 weeks before this break-in, according to what we found out via an inquiry with the state Department of Corrections . Comment?

A 20-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday in connection with a drive-by shooting in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood. Officers were in the area when they heard shots around fired around 1 a.m. near First Avenue and Blanchard Street. Comment?

Police homicide and gang detectives continue to investigate the shooting Wednesday night in downtown Seattle that left two people hurt. Police were called to a report of shots fired near Third Avenue and Pine Street, the hub of shopping, business and transit, just after 8 p.m. No arrests have been made and police have not provided descriptions of the suspects. Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was shot early Tuesday in Belltown, then fled the area in a taxi cab, police said. Officers responded to the scene, near 2nd Avenue and Blanchard Street, shortly before 2 a.m. after receiving 911 calls about shots fired, said Detective Patrick Michaud of the Seattle police. Two men remain in King County Jail after being arrested in connection with a robbery and assault that partially blinded a Georgetown gas station clerk. The clerk remains in intensive care at Harborview Medical Center and is now blind in his right eye, according to probable cause documents. Comment?

Two suspects were arrested Wednesday in connection with the brutal stabbing of an employee during a robbery at a gas station on New Year's Eve in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood, police say. In the department's blog, Detective Patrick Michaud wrote that the two suspects were being interviewed and would later be booked into King County Jail. Comment?

Two Seattle men who King County prosecutors say established a "predatory pattern" of working together to target women on Capitol Hill remain jailed on rape and theft charges and one of them is under investigation in another theft case. Kirose Hailu, 23, and Wolid Mohammed, 22, were already in the King County Jail on investigation of identity theft when they were each charged Dec. 17 with second-degree rape, accused of forcibly raping a woman in an alley in February , according to jail and court records.
