A number of cars were damaged, but nobody was injured Thursday afternoon when police say a man began yelling and firing a gun in West Seattle. At about 2:45 p.m., police got a call about shots being fired in the 2100 block of Belvidere Ave Southwest. Comment?

City police are investigating a robbery inside the basement of a home on Smith Street on Tuesday, where the victim was supposed to meet with someone to sell some "merchandise," according to police radio broadcasts. Officers were called to 154 Smith St., about 10:45 p.m., when a 911 caller reported someone was handcuffed and assaulted. Comment?

We've just confirmed the arrest of a suspect in last Friday's High Point shooting. As reported here shortly after it happened , an 18-year-old was shot in the leg during what was reported as a fight involving about 20 people near 30th SW and High Point Drive. Comment?

Seattle police have arrested a 17-year-old boy on connection with last Friday's shooting in the High Point neighborhood in West Seattle. The victim was shot in the leg during a fight involving up to 20 people in the 3000 block of High Point Way Southwest around 3:30 p.m., according to Seattle police. Comment?
