Filing an assault charge, King County prosecutors claim John Jacob Turner attacked his ex-girlfriend in a jealous rage, dousing her with gasoline and setting her on fire. Comment?

A man on a third-floor apartment balcony opened fire at another man on the street below after a dispute over text messages became violent, police said. Officers responded to the scene, an apartment building at SW Morgan Street and 35th Avenue SW in West Seattle, at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of shots fired. Comment?

Seattle police believe a 16-year-old boy they arrested Thursday morning for reportedly pulling a gun on his family may be connected to a string of West Seattle drive-by shootings that occurred hours earlier. Police fielded a 2 a.m. report of a domestic disturbance involving a gun at a home in the 7700 block of 12th Avenue Southwest, according to police reports. Comment?

A 16-year-old boy was arrested Thursday morning after he reportedly pulled a gun on his own family in West Seattle, and police say he may also be responsible for a series of late-night drive-by shootings in his neighborhood. The incident began at about 8 p.m. Wednesday when officers received a report of gunfire in the 5400 block of Delridge Way SW, said Detective Drew Fowler of the Seattle police. Comment?

The Italian Supreme Court overturned a convction against her, meaning she will not face extradition or serve the 28 year sentence in the case that had accused her and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito of murdering British student Meredith Kercher. Knox and Sollecito were originally sentenced in 2009 be were later acquitted in a subsequent trial in 2011. Comment?

SOUTHEAST SEATTLE SHOOTING SUSPECT FOUND IN WEST SEATTLE: Last night at 23rd SW/SW Brandon, police made a "felony stop" - guns drawn, as is SOP when someone in a pulled-over vehicle is suspected of a felony. We thought we heard, via scanner, the word "shooting," but couldn't find evidence of any West Seattle gunfire incidents last night, and couldn't reach police for information. Comment?
