I recieved a DUI on October 31, 2008. I was told by a CDL instructor that I must wait five years before expecting to get hired by a trucking firm. Must I wait the full five years or can I proceed to get the CDL now and get hired at the five year mark?
You should be able to get your CDL now. It is up to the company if they choose to hire you.

Check with your local DMV for the status of your license.

I can only help you. You should get full credit.
No previous charges not even a speeding ticket, have done an alcohol class, evaluation I go to AA 3 times a week and counseling 2 times a week. I have hired an attorney and already had my arraignment.
Then your attorney is the one to talk to about possible sentencing. He/she knows the facts of the case and all of the...
