had gotten a disorderly conduct in Romulus,Mi because I was drunk in public,I went to court and got6 months of non reporting probationg and if completed it would be expounged off my record.Well last night I was hit by a semi but i had alochol in my system and walked away from the accident to find my mother (who is the owner of the car) and I was trying to talk to her on the phone and explain where I was at so she could find me.They charged me with leaving the scene of the accident. This all happen in a Jackson county and I was put in jail for the night. I am just very worried about getting jail time.My occupation was one that was not a good influence and was around alochol all day.I have since quit, I attend college, I am already taking AA willingly, and have a new job. What will happen
How far into your probation in Romulus are you? They could violate you for the arrest but odds are that they won't....
Got DWI, spent 12 hours in holding room in police station, was suppose to get out at 7:05 am, but wouldnt let me out because they said I didn't/wouldn't blow in the breath tester properly, I said I have never done this, what/how am I suppose to do it, please tell me how, they just said when you decide to do it right you can get out.

I'm 19 and i got an mip last night. i blew a .027. I did everything the officer told me to and i was honest with them. my friends got tickets right their, the officer told us we could leave an walk to my friends house close by, i didnt receive a ticket at the time, i though they let me off because i was so cooperative with them, and we were walking down the street and one of the officers pulled up and told me he forgot to give me my ticket. i was shocked and really confused. Is this legal? Can i have my case dismissed because he didn't give it to me at the hotel we were at? I hope their some legal hope for me, because really that probably upset me the most. I'm in college and i have my life on track, it was just a bad time and wrong place. please if you could answer my question. that would help.

i only went to probatoin once i didnt do anything the judge ordered . i went to jail for a few days when he sentence. me. then i was picked up for not doing my community service and sat again. i had to move since and am no longer in michigan. i have missed a show cause hearing. how far can they come get me and can my charges change from misdemeanor?
