Need to know what I am looking at either time wise or suspension?
There is a lot more information needed to answer your question. When were you convicted of the one in 2002? When were...
I receive S.S.I. And I think the first of my D.U.I's should have been dismissed
It is possible for you to file a motion and request that the court waive or reduce the fines and costs that were...
I was arrested for a prescription medication DUI. I cooperated with arresting officer; I took FST and allowed blood to be drawn. This was not only my 1st DUI, but 1st arrest in nearly 60 years. When officer took me home, he walked into my home without asking or receiving my consent and demanded to speak with my spouse. FYI I was not impaired while walking or climbing steps, so there was no claim I could hurt myself. Is this legal, especially since he was alone on a different floor of my home while I went to get my spouse?
This is your second posting. Hire a lawyer!
I was tired after driving 56 miles from my friends home to my home. I am 100% disabled for fibromyalgia and severe back pain and qualify for SSDI. I momentarily took my eyes off the road and subsequently grazed a telephone pole while driving in the extreme right lane. I corrected my car and signaled for a right turn, slowed down and made the turn. At approx. 1/3 of a block beyond intersection a marked police car turned on red lights and I immediately pulled over to the right curb and stopped. Five (5) police cars surrounded me with 1 officer each and I was questioned about drinking (answer=no), then questioned if "I was on something" upon which I answered yes and produced prescription bottle. I agreed to Field Sobriety Test and blood test. Is there any way I can beat this charge I PA?
You have options so you should stop posting and focus on retaining an attorney with expertise in DUI cases. We provide...
It's being 2 months and no word yet on the results.

I was arrested a few weeks ago for suspicion of DUI. My lawyer is getting me into the ARD program, which he told me will not result in a DUI conviction on my criminal record (correct me if I am wrong). I was just given a job offer as a physical therapist assistant for a skilled nursing facility. Employment is pending upon a drug test and background check. I have no priors on my record whatsoever. I just tried to access my criminal background check and it is pending. If I haven't been convicted of a DUI, and likely should not, is this going to affect my opportunity for employment? Is it possible that my background check will come up as "no record" since I technically have not been convicted?
ARD is a program offered to carefully screened Defendants. It is important for you to retain a criminal defense...
Hi, My brother was arrested for his second DUI back in 2009. He was notified by PennDot (PA department of transportation) early 2010 that his drivers license was suspended for 18 months. He didn't appear to court but served about a week jail time in August 2013. He just completed 9 months of parole time and is looking to restore his drivers license and his life in general. The restoration requirements letter he received from Penn Dot lists all the steps he needs to take to restore his drivers license. At this point is it necessary to hire a lawyer to help him restore his drivers license or should he follow the steps stated on the restoration requirements letter retrieved from Penn Dot? Thank you for your help P.S.He doesn't know English all that well Sincerely, A concerned sister
Provided your brother turned his license in when suspended, he needs to follow the steps on the letter. Good luck!
