I got a DWI last night in NJ. I blew a .16 at the police station. I pulled into a empty vacant lot off the highway cause I smelled gasoline from the engine. I was making a phone call when the cop pulled up behind me and starting asking me questions. I did the fst for him.. one leg up and also heal to toe test. He arrested me. I need my license for my job. Any great Attorneys can help?

In 2000 I received a DUI and appeared in court. At the time I was young and had no idea what was going on. (my parents and attorney did not communicate with me). I was led to believe my parents were paying my fines to the state of NJ Motor Vehicles while I was in school and the probationary terms were going to be revised as I could not attend the classes. Since 2002 my parents divorced and I have had limited communication with them and the matter did not resurface. I was searching my name and discovered 2 judgements from the DMV. I am extremely worried that a bench warrant was issued for arrest and I was never notified. I live out of state and want to fix this whole mess, I just have no idea where to start. Please help!
Call the court where the charges were adjudicated to find out about warrants. Call the mvc to find out about license...
I got a DWI a couple of years ago. Pled not guilty, charges were reduced to 3 months license suspension vs the usual 7 months due to a technicality (cop forgot to read me something when I refused the breathalyzer). Do I need to disclose this information on a job application? Is it considered a crime or criminal offense? It says not to include minor traffic offenses, but DWI is hardly considered a minor offense. Thanks.
In New Jersey, DWI is a traffic offense. It is not a crime.
