I had got a DUI in Feb. of '07 and had since completed ALL court mandated services (fee's, payments, community service, MADD seminars, Drug and Alcohol classes ect.) Have NOT driven since then and have NOT been committed of any other offense or crimes in that 6 year period. Finally went to get my license re-instated and now they tell me I have to get an Interlock before I can even get approval to get my license!? And keep it for 2 years? I was never sentenced or ordered to get one and today I find out I HAVE to get one? Doesn't make sense to me? Just seems like a way to get MORE money out of me (6 years later) Lol. I don't get it. Any info or insight to this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
