A Greenwich man was arrested by Port Chester police and the Westchester County Police Narcotics Unit after he reportedly tried to sell cocaine to an undercover officer. A suspected drug dealer from Greenwich was arrested by Port Chester police and the Westchester County Police Narcotics Unit on Thursday after he tried to sell cocaine to an undercover officer. Eddy Herrera, 23, of Hollow Wood Lane in Greenwich was carrying a loaded 9mm High Point handgun as well as an unspecified quantity of cocaine when he was arrested on felony charges, police said Friday. 1 comment

Rye police have named the suspects arrested last weekend for using counterfeit $100s in stores along Purchase Street as well as businesses in Rye Brook and Port Chester. Charged with first-degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony, were Catherine Arichabala, 23, and Nicole Munoz, 20, both of Elmhurst, Queens. Comment?

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. A Port Chester man was convicted this week in Westchester County Court of second-degree burglary stemming from an incident in 2013 when a boy returned home to find the defendant in his upstairs bathroom. A jury found Carlos Velasquez, 41, guilty of second-degree burglary and second-degree escape, felonies. Comment?

Port Chester Police arrested a 32-year-old Stamford man Wednesday on illegal weapons and drug possession charges after detectives searched a Weber Drive home where the man was staying. Frank Maxwell was charged with "Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree , Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Criminal Possession of Marihuana 5th degree ," according to Police Chief Richard Conway.
