pulled over for no reason, had paperwork ready. all legit. shows up with my paperwork and a breathalyzer and asks me to blow. i refuse. he makes me get out, do roadside test and i record everything. i pass. he still arrests me. in retrospect, i should have just blown but i host a talk show and one of our MAIN topics is police misconduct. he was so pissed that i recorded him. i was angry but i didn't lash out. he claimed i sabotaged the "gaze test" and put me in cuffs. an hour later, released with a few tickets. this police department in particular has harassed me in the past and blocked my access to my old police reports for a time i was assaulted, claiming that i was a suspect because it involved one of the k9 wardens and this is why i refused the test. corruption. what happens now?
You get a good criminal lawyer and fight the case. Does this police department use dashboard caeras? If so, your lawyer...
i plead out to a misdemeanor dwi and a auo 2nd and originally got 6 months of weekends and a $1500 fine. I was ordered to go on Mondays and Tuesdays. I did 5 months of weekends and i missed 2 days from the 5 month stretch now the court wants to re sentence me because of me missing the 2 days. Should i have a attorney when i go back to court for re sentencing or is it a waste of time and money? Considering i only had 4 weeks or 8 days left?
You must have an attorney appear with you to avoid the worst sentence, up to 1 year in jail.

This is my first DWI, and will definitely be my last, I have been sentenced to 7 DDP weeks, and 4 DRC DWI weekends, plus fines. No license for 6 months. what extra fines will I be paying, and what will I be doing in the DRC DWI program for this time each week? Concerned mother of 3.

I was arrested recently for drivng with a revoked license. Also, because I refused the breathalyzer, they charged me with DUI. These charges violated the terms of my probation; a 5 year probation for similar charges from 2011. I imagine that when I report to my PO on Wednesday, he is going to violate me. If I chose to make Texas my asylum state, would they honor New York's extradition request?
NY will violate for a felony probation.
