A Bergen County man was arrested Tuesday after authorities learned he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual activity with a 12-year-old female acquaintance on numerous occasions. The New Jersey Department of Children and Families Division of Child Protection and Permanency learned of the incidents and contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit who then notified the Englewood Police Department, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said. Comment?

PARAMUS - Two Newark residents face charges in connection with the theft of packages from several Ramsey homes, police said Saturday. Alex Beltransarcay, 32, and Glennys Cuevaslorenzo, 27, were each charged with possession of stolen property after they were caught by Paramus police Friday on Route 17, Chief Kenneth R. Ehrenberg said in a statement. Comment?

PARAMUS - A DNA match led to the arrest of a 47-year-old Bronx man in a car burglary more than a year ago near the borough court, police said Thursday. Jesus Borrero, who was already in custody in New York state on unrelated offenses, was charged Dec. 2 with burglary to auto and theft for stealing airbags from a Honda Accord parked on Carlough Drive Oct. 2, 2013, according to police. Police say a 47-year-old Bronx man was arrested last week after DNA evidence linked him to a car burglary near the borough courthouse in October 2013. Jesus Borrero was charged with burglary to auto and theft on Dec. 2, Paramus Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said in a news release. Comment?

ROCHELLE PARK - A borough man who last year allegedly posted ads offering cash for sex with underage girls was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday, North Jersey.com reported. Michael T. Mullins, 27, was arrested by an undercover detective Aug. 9, 2013 posing as a 15-year-old girl online who arranged to meet Mullins at a Best Buy in Paramus, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said. ELMWOOD PARK - A Paramus woman was charged with f atally hitting a pedestrian with her car as she was driving while intoxicated on Route 46 late Tuesday, authorities said. Marie Briamonte, 58, was released on $150,000 bail, with a 10 percent option, after she was arrested on a death by auto charge, according to Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli. Comment?

A Bergen County woman was arrested Tuesday after fatally striking a man who was crossing the highway while she was driving while intoxicated. Marie Briamonte, 58, of Paramus, was driving her 2003 Toyota Camry just before 11 p.m. Tuesday when she allegedly struck a 48-year-old North Plainfield man on Route 46 West in Elmwood Park, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Jessie Legar, 26, of Elizabeth, and Carlos Sencion-Perez, 30, also of Elizabeth, were arrested after detectives learned Legar was distributing cocaine in the Paramus area and initiated surveillance, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said. Legar and Sencion-Perez drove to the Garden State Plaza parking lot on Nov. 25 "and were conducting themselves in a suspicious manner," according to Molinelli. Comment?
