Paramus Law

My 29 year old son, has been issued a conditional license from NY. ( For a DWAI) One of the stipulations is that he can drive to and from work. His job is in Paramus NJ. Are there any options for him to be able to drive to his job with a conditional license? The conditional license is until Sept 2013.
We can refer you to a NJ lawyer whom you can retain to research this query.
I am 20 yrs old turning 21 in march. I basically created the biggest mess I could and landed myself 6 tickets of which include driving with an expired DL, failure to show DL, careless driving causing damage to property (I hit a parked car) an they gave my 3 DUI tickets explaining that only one would stick. They were DUI, Underage DUI, and DUI in less of 1000 feet of a school (which I plan to contest) I was driving my fathers rental car and I blew a .25.. All those facts aside I have never once been pulled over or in trouble at all.. I had walked in on my girlfriend cheating on me in the apartment we rente together and just fell off the deepend.. I expect to lose my license but that is the least of my worries I am a permenant resident and I just want to know what I am facing..
A conviction of the top charge (DUI school zone) carries very serious penalties. 1-2 years suspension, ip to 60 days...
do first Q2 do i have to complete the 3 month or can i get out sooner for work release or good behavior? any other legal option?
I am a little unsure of your situation. I take it that you are facing this time if and when you are sentenced. Unless...
This is what I was told, "Wet Reckless, or a conviction of reckless driving involving alcohol, as a result of a plea bargain in which a charge of drunk driving is reduced to a case of reckless driving in NJ. Would a DWAI in NY State can be recognized as a "Wet Reckless" in NJ?
No. It is not possible.
MY DWAI CONVICTION was this past January 2013 in NY state. The incident had occured on May 30th, 2012 in midtown NYC so I had my driving privilege revoked from ny state since May 30th, 2012. The Manhattan criminal court suspended my NY privileges for 3 months and I had to pay $1250 worth of fines and take a DDP (Drinking Diver Program). Its currently May and I paid all my fines and got my driving privileges in NY state back on April 25th 2013 after paying a restoration fee. The day I paid my restoration fee at the NY state DMV they said all I had to do was pay the $50 and I can drive anywhere and Its not required for me to take the DDP. Regardless I signed up for the DDP because of the court order and am taking the class in a NY State school so NJ has no knowledge. Will NJ find out?
Nj is supposed to find out. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't. There's really no way to know in advance if it...
Due to many poor choices in the past I amassed several dui convictions (and it's companion 39:3-40). My lifestyle is not what is was then. My life now is as respected business owner. I serve on a commission in the local government. I am a high school sports official in multiple sports. Is it possible to have these run concurrent? The sentence has been more a burden to my wife and I can never hope to replace what I've taken from her. But to be able for her not to have to be my chauffer for the rest of our lives. It is something I'd very much like to be able to give her. Are there any precedents where the merging of sentences is possible under NJ's DUI laws? please respond. I am hoping against hope that something is possible here. I didn't know it was a life sentence.
Speak with a lawyer. I'd say you're a very long shot at best, but, theoretically, you could try to file a motion for re-...
I got a DUI in Las Vegas. Got a lawyer. He went to court for me. I paid all the lawyer fees. Lawyer sent me notarized letter indicating my court fee total is $2000. No other charges included. I called court to verify, court said it is $1000. Is my lawyer doing something illegal? Can I sue him or have an investigation done?
Good question. Maybe. If he is charging you more in fees than you should be paying, that is a problem. Before you...
