I am on probation in Kleberg (Kingsville, TX) county. I am already transferred to Guadalupe county (Seguin, TX) because I am living in Seguin. I am starting a new job in Seguin today too. I am going to be moving back to my mom's in Karnes county, but keeping the job in Seguin. Can I keep my probation in Guadalupe county if i keep my job there? Or do i have to transfer probation to Karnes county since i will be living there?
Yes, it is possible to transfer your probation supervision again. You will need to check with your original (Kleberg...
I am on felony probation and have a breathalyser w/camera in my car. My ex blew drunk into it at 4 am (while i sleep) one morning to get me into trouble. I broke up with him Friday. Ignored him Saturday. He showed up at 2 am Sunday to talk & "he misses me". I let him in to talk. He starts getting hostile, demands my phone, I say no and to leave. He wont leave, becomes aggressive, and starts looking for phone. I ran to neighbors, Called cops. They show up and make sure he's gone. I go home. I found keys in car next day! Suspected he did something so told my PO Monday that he might have tried something. So month passed and PO calls and informs me my monthly report shows a man's picture came up blowing drunk into interlock 4 am that Sunday It was him. He stole my keys while i ran to neighbor
Tampering with Physical Evidence comes to mind. They would have to prove that he knew there was a pending...
Im on probation and have ignition interlock with the camera. I broke up with my boyf on a Friday, I ignored his texts all Saturday, he showed up at 2 am to my house to talk so i hid my purse and phone, opened the door, he came in, he obviously had been drinking, then he started accusing me of cheating, called me names, told him to leave, he wouldn't, pushed me, started looking for my purse/phone, i was scared so ran out the side door and ran to neighbors, called cops, they made sure he left. Last week PO called me saying i had failed blows at 4 & 430 am that night. The camera took picture and it was him! He must have found my car keys when i left! Judge did not sign my revocation paper from PO, but i have status hearing. What is that? Should I now get a no contact order or restraining orde
You should not let him in to your house and call the cops as soon as he shows up. Whatever you need to do to keep him...
i live in austin texas, and i am in orlando doing a contract project at the convention center. I jsut got a dui, and it says I have 10 days to dispute it and i can get a hardship license. It says my license wil be suspended for up to a year. If my drivers license was issued in texas does that mean that the same thing will happen in Texas, and if so can I get a hardship license?
Yes, although there is always the possibility that it will take time or perhaps get lost,, but plan on getting a...
After being charged with DWI in Dallas, TX, I relocated to CA for work (I maintain residences in both states). I have already served a six month ALR suspension. I am looking to make a plea agreement which would result in a conviction on my record. Will my TX license be suspended again? How difficult would it be to reinstate? Would it be better to obtain a CA license before making the plea? Would my CA license be suspended in this event? What would the process be to reinstate it?
If this is your first DWI you will not have an additional suspend ouch you plead to probation. So you would have no...
I am going for 3 months and so far the only response I've gotten was "It's like Kindergarten. You get colored shirts which state your risk level, can't touch anyone or get out of line. There's nap time and rec time and meetings.". I am nowhere near satisfied with that answer. My preferred response has to do with what kind of people I will be dealing with, and if there is a risk (like in jail) of me having to stand my ground which will earn me more time. I do not want to be there longer than I have to, and I think it's complete trash that I have to go in the first place considering I no longer drink and I still attend my AA meetings. This is screwing me out of a job, which will in turn screw my girlfriend on finances. Also, does my time in count toward probation time? Thank you.
I have never heard of SAFPF being a 3-month program. I believe it is usually 6 months with up to a 3-month halfway...
Hello, I have no priors, am an undergrad about to graduate, and in the mental health docket. I was given the option of pretrial diversion, which to my understanding is new in the county. I was arrested in December for Xanax misuse. However, I have shown many changes, and it was the county attorney who recommended it, not the prosecutor. On the 22nd of May, I meet with a counselor who will determine my eligibility. However, my questions are as follows: 1. Do I self-incriminate on information they do not know? Ie. my blood results have not come back 2. How long does one have to stay in the program? Is it a year, 6 months, etc? 3. After this, how long before I can have it expunged from my record? I understand two years per Texas Penal Code but know it differs by county. Thank you!
Pretrial diversion programs are different in every county. I recommend you contact a lawyer in Bell County to answer...
