Alaska State Troopers said they arrested two people on outstanding warrants after pulling over a vehicle for a traffic violation in Wasilla Thursday. In an online dispatch troopers wrote that Dusty Duke, 36, and Askia Porcher, 37, were pulled over by troopers for a moving violation, but troopers quickly discovered that the two were the subjects of outstanding arrest warrants. Comment?

A Palmer jury on Monday acquitted 31-year-old Benjamin Wilson of the murder of 28-year-old Leticia Faller in a Butte parking lot in November, as well as charges of manslaughter, assault and kidnapping, though he was found guilty of a single count of coercion related to threatening texts he sent on the day of Faller's death. Alaska State Troopers said Monday that Wilson had been found not guilty of most of the charges in the case following a lengthy trial and several days of jury deliberations. Comment?

A jury on Thursday began deliberating the murder case against Benjamin Wilson, the 31-year-old accused of shooting 28-year-old Leticia Faller in a Butte parking lot last November. Wilson shot Faller in the head the evening of Nov. 9 in the parking lot of the Green Store, a convenience store and gas station along the Old Glenn Highway. Comment?
