March 14--A member of the Owensboro Fire Department was charged with felony assault and wanton endangerment Friday, after he admitted to shooting at a man during a Thursday morning traffic accident on Triplett Street. Brandon L. Whitehead, 31, of Utica, was charged with second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment for shooting at Phillip L. Ward, 21, of the 1200 block of Avondale Road about 12:04 a.m. Thursday, after Ward's vehicle collided with the rear of Whitehead's vehicle, Owensboro Police Department reports say. Comment?
