I spent the night at a friends house and we were drinking and we went walking at 1:30a.m. We got stopped by Greenbrier PD. The officers never read us our Miranda Rights. Whenever you get arrested the Police Officers have to read you your rights correct? Will this be on my permanent record? How much are the fines for both charges? And this being my first offense would they drop the charges? When the Officers gave us a breathalizer at the police station it read 0.0 would they drop the charges since I passed it?

How do you find out if a juvenile court judge charged with dui was prosecuted in robertson county, tennessee
the juvenile court judge over the case of my two 17 yr old twin grandsons has had a prior arrrest for dui and tried to use her position as a judge to get the officer not to arrest her but he arrested her anyway (according to the WTVF local news station in nashville ) her boss made a statement that the dui charge would be handeled as it would be for any other citizen, but i don't know who to contact to find out. the judge ordered my daughter to spend 24 hrs in jail for contempt of court becasue she could not believe the punishment and expressed her opinion (maternal instinct) this 24 hr lock up somehow ended up being 72 hrs) the grandfather ask to speak to the court. and rudely told NO SIT DOWN. a woman gave him a handwritten note" CSX ain't the only RAILROAD thru here" .NEED to know

How can i defend my case when i was under duress and the officer charges me with dui, implied consent, and drug paraphernalia?
I have been suffering from vertigo, nashua, and blacking out in my work place for a number of weeks. I was attempting to drive home when i experienced vertigo. I immediately pulled off to the nearest exit and parked in a gas staion parking lot. My car was off, keys zipped in my pocket, and in a parking spot. My two feet were on the ground, the door was open and i was facing the gas station. I sat here vomiting and dry heaving for about 30 mins. A very aggressive state trooper pulls in behind me, prevents me from leaving and gets out. Long story short... i consent to search he finds an old cigarillo and baggies. i couldnt do the roadside sobriety test and i was barely conscious when presented the implied consent form. The officer refused to help me understand and told me to refuse..
You need to get an a DUI defense attorney ASAP to assist you. Some troopers are very aggressive and there are many...
I was arrested for a DUI in Lawrenceburg. Passed field sobriety tests, and refused blood test because I am a commercial driver.
I was arrested for a DUI in Lawrenceburg, TN. Passed field sobriety tests, and refused blood test because I am a commercial driver and it would show up on my work insurance and could result in me getting fired. I was pulled over for "yielding and then merging." The officer never asked me to take a breathalyzer. Can you give me some advice on where to go from here? Should I have an attorney?
You need an attorney ASAP. You could lose your commercial DL if convicted. Were you in your rig? I am a former...
If I got into a collision and had drank BUT was NOT found at fault , does officer have grounds to make me take DUI field tests?
I was involved in a collision and when the cops came they gave neither parties a ticket and found no one at fault and I had drank and admitted to 1 beer. Does the officer still have the right to ask me to take a field sobriety test? Please note that no one was injured in this collision.. I was neither walking funny or slurring I did 2 FST's and then on the third one ( where you keep one leg up) after 12 seconds my leg fell down and I put it back up for another 10 seconds and fell down and then officer arrested me.. When asked if I would take a breathalyzer.. I refused which is implied consent law violation Did the cop have every right to ask me take the test or can this be fought in court since I was not found at fault for collision?
You need to hire a very good DUI attorney if you are dealing with a refusal. The officer can ask for you to do the...
My mother committed a 1st offense DUI roughly 3 weeks ago. Last night, she was arrested again for the same charge. I understand the jail time that she's facing and that she'll likely get "the book thrown at her" for two DUIs in 1 month, but my question is this: What are the chances that he'll sentence her to some sort of rehabilitation? Would it be helpful at all if I contacted the judge and appealed to him for this? Thanks so much in advance.
Yes, but only contact the judge in open court and do so through her attorney.
