I understand that Montana has a 5 year lookback period for DUI which is less than the 10 year lookback in Oregon. Given that I will be completing ACT program here in Montana will this be considered a repeat offense for ACT thus requiring treatment referral? I was convicted of DUI in Oregon 8 years ago and again in Oregon this past year.
Thank you in advance for sage words of wisdom regarding completing ACT here in Montana and specifically if I will be treated as a repeat or first time offender in the program.
Contact the local bar association they will get you in touch with some pro bono attorneys.
I was convicted of a misdemeanor a few years ago. Just this past year the judge that convicted me was arrested for accepting bribes during a certain few years. My case fell within this time-frame. Can I get my case dismissed since the judge's integrity is in question?
That may or may not affect your case. I assume you entered a voluntary plea of guilty to the misdemeanor offense and...
I got a DUI in 2007 at the age of 20. I am now 26 and I am still getting rejected for some jobs because of it. I had no priors and haven't had any run ins with the law since. What are the chances of getting my DUI expunged? Is it worth the time and fees?
None. In Montana, DUI's are specifically excluded from being removed from your record.
