Can I still drive my car with a pending court case for DUI (Breath test was 0.053 ) The officer refused to turn my DL back to me and said that I'll have to get it from the court .
Yes you can continue to drive. Your result was below the limit so there is not an immediate suspension.
Im 17 and was recently arrested for driving under the influence of Cannibis. I had no sobriety test's or any other test except a urine sample when I got to the Police Station. Basically im wondering if that is enough evidence for them to convict me of the dui, and if so around how long will I lose my license? I have never been in trouble with the police before. Also there was nothing in the car except my friend has a pipe which they gave him a fine for.
Time to hire a lawyer. It is a DUI to drive with any cannabis in your blood or urine. You do not have to be under the...

2 prior DUI's over 7 years ago...just got anther DUI---crashed into a car and other driver broke arm and neck....is it possible to get probation? what is likely prison sentence?
This is serious, and should be asked of your Attorney. There is no way to give that answer without reviewing all the...
I recently lost a judgment on a 2nd DUI bench trial, and want to file for an appeal or new trial. Please see below.
There was no breath test. My field sobriety tests were not perfect, but I performed fairly well. During the tests, my contact lenses fell out. I have -7.5+ vision. (Very poor). I was also suffering from a cold and watery eyes that contributed to the lenses falling out. (Have prescription records to prove that). I also stepped on a rock, and I brought that to the attention of cop. During the video portion of the stop, my driving is perfect. For some reason, the judge believed what happened before and after the video than what he saw on the video. During the final deliberation of judgment, the judge remarked if I can see a rock, then my vision was not an issue. He acted as a judge and medical expert. Medical records were not summoned. Do I have ground to ask for appeal / or new trial ?
There is no way to tell from your posting and in a case like yours even a review of the court file might not answer...
If arrested on a DUI charge, then being released to no one? I walked to closest relative 3-5miles away @ 3am? is that right?
I had no shows, coat, phone , identification, nothing besides my romper. Officer told me my sister was waiting outside, told me to go out through same way we entered(being police garage). I shook hands with the two and only two officers, to uphold my respect for authority even though they had abused the badge and what it stands for. Back to my point i was pulled over cabout 2am, for speeding and then hr or so later taken in on a DUI charge as well, When I was told my ride was outside I walked out to pitch black with one street lamp for police station lot. No one was there for me so i started walking.. my sister is only one who lived close by. mind you i do not live in this area or ever walked in foreign territory. Now is that legal to release a young cute and "drunk" to no one? vehicle?.
You are young and cute? It sounds like you had just been arrested for DUI. If there was o one outside for you, why...
After a second DUI, what is the difference in terms of getting my license reinstated vs. a restricted driving permit?
My formal hearing is upcoming to try to get my license back. I'm wondering how hard it is to get my license reinstated vs. just receiving a restricted driving permit. If I receive a restricted driving permit, how long does it take to get my license fully reinstated? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Most likely your best outcome is a restricted permit. Permit will be granted for one year. You can request...
