I have an administrative suspension and pending criminal DUI in FL with an AL license, and in the process of becoming an OK resident. I travel for work, live in an RV and contract all over the country and world. I had switched my residence to OK from AL, I just hadn't switched my DL yet due to work location restrictions. My home of record and taxes are in OK though. I got a DUI administrative suspension in FL and have a pending court case with a FL lawyer. I could get a hardship license in FL if I were a FL resident. My career will be destroyed without limited driving privileges and I would not be able to feed myself, I am single and live in an RV. I am already financially crippled and believe that physically crippling me and destroying my career is unreasonable. What should I do? HELP!
Until you have been convicted of the DUI the Florida suspension is only administrative. Therefore the Florida...
My 6 months is up next week for dui apc suspended drivers license, i need 3 things assessment, interlock, and reinstatement fee. The interlock is all i need but dont have a vehicle how can i get my license back without one?
You will be taking copies of your assessment and class completions to DPS driver compliance. The compliance officer...
i didn't take the breath test and no sobriety test was given.
If you refused a blood test, your DL will be revoked via the DPS administrative process. You should retain counsel...
i was given a chemical test and released after three hours i payed my fines they told me i was done and did not have to appear in court . i went through the proper procedures and got my license back . now i am subbing at a elementary school and have been for over a year , with the possibility of getting a contract i am haunted by the fact i may not get hired if somehow this is on my fbi background check.i would also like to add this has been well over five years ago.
From the information you have given, it sounds like the DUI may show up on a background check. You should consult an...
This is my first DUI and I blew a .10. I keep reading conflicting laws about whether it will be suspended or revoked and as I am aware of the differences, this technicality may make a difference in my particular situation. Also, will the effective date coincide with the date of the CO DMV hearing or criminal case... or will it be prolonged to whenever OK finds out/notifies me? I got the DUI in CO and received CO's revocation notice from the DMV hearing on 1/30. On that note, am I just not allowed to drive in CO right now until OK notifies me of revocation/suspension? Or if I get pulled over/random plate check, will the police see that my privelages have been revoked even before I am notified by OK? Will hire attorney who is sure of these things as my detail oriented mind is going insane.
I am not licensed in OK or CO, but the answer is suspension if CO suspends it; revoked if CO revokes it. OK will do so...
CO has me revoked for 9 months which I understand OK will place a suspension for the same but IL will place a hold for 1 year. Will this effect my ability to reinstate my OK DL after 9 months? In other words, will OK deny my reinstatement until the IL hold has been lifted? Also, I will be staying with my mom in WI to wait out my suspension... will I be allowed to get an occupational license or drive with an interlock from OK while I'm staying in WI to work in WI before the 9 months? This is my first DUI and I blew a .10.
You need to speak to a traffic attorney in the State where you need to obtain driving privileges. The privilege to...
the DMV hearing on 1/30/15. I obtained the OK license on 1/2/15 and my IL license was later revoked on 1/30/15. Did I commit a crime by obtaining this license? Not knowing the outcome of the what the DMV hearing would be I felt that this was okay, but will the OK DMV look at it this way? Or can they look at the arrest date as the date I was ineligible of obtaining the license?
Because this question involves local law and I'm not licensed to practice in your jurisdiction let me just address the...
