I received a DUI two years ago in Illinois and was placed on two years supervision. I have paid all the court fees and complied with all of my sentence. I have documentation and receipts to as evidence to demonstrate this. Is it necessary for my lawyer to be at court with me for the termination date or will the judge simply verify I have completed my sentence? If my lawyer is required, will be request an additional fee for being there?
If you are in complete compliance, your attorney need not appear with you for your final court date. As for whether...
Recently, I was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor (I am 18 years old). On the ticket I was issued, it states " the complainant on oath states that the defendant did then and there violate 13.501 of the municipal code, and I was given a court date for a month from now. I am applying to colleges and wondering if this is expungeable to avoid having to put it on college applications. Also, when does the ticket go on my record, before or after my court date? Furthermore, my ticket states illegal consumption of alcohol by a MINOR even though i was 18 when it was issued, does this change anything?
The ticket will not go on your record until after a disposition has been entered. Before that, you should hire an...

I got arrested for a DUI & Following to closely. I was diving a motorcycle and following my acquaintances because I did not know my way around that city. The officer went on to administer FST's which he stated that I failed. When he gave me the PBT it made me cough because I vomited not 15 minutes before they arrested me. (I did not mention I vomited but I have witness that can attest to this) On the sword statement, he said I refused to provide sample; however, on the sworn statement he put that my PBT read 0.163. Whilst in jail, I vomited again so they did not give me breathalyzer. And had to pee really bad so the officer ended up not taking a urine sample. (He said wait till you provide sample to pee.) While I was in my holding cell - I asked for a blood test. Which they didnottake

If you have proof of one year of attending AA and no further incidents, there should be no bar to your admission.
The arrest took place more than a year ago. The charges were reduced to reckless driving adjudication withheld after my lawyer entered a "No contest" plea and I only had to pay 300$ fine nothing else. I am an experienced software developer and have a job currently. Currently I am considering an offer from another software company. Can this incident affect me adversely during the employment background check if I declare the incident honestly? How much details of the arrest record should I provide in the background application form? Should I tell that initially I was charged with DUI, then entered no contest plea and then it got reduced to reckless with adjudication withheld? or Should I just say I was arrested once and got reckless driving with adjudication withheld?
It will be on your driving record and your rap sheet so you should disclose it.
