2012 I was acquitted of dwi charges, before the criminal case, the civil courts found the accusation enough to revoke driving.
is this right?, after the state could not prove their accusation they had no proof of me driving at all, I believed my driving status should have been restored to the condition it was in before this accusation was made against me. This accusation is what the civil courts used to base their decision on to revoke my privilege to drive in Vermont. Why would I or anyone for that matter pay a penalty for a crime they did not commit. Am I missing something ??.... help!!!.
There was a lower burden of proof for the civil case involving your license. But, a not guilty verdict normally trumps...
In 2012 I was tried for DWI in Burlington VT. and was found not guilty, Why am I being forced to take Vermont's CRASH PROGRAM ..
I was standing in the parking lot of a hotel waiting for the owner of the car when the police arrived they walked into the building so I asked one of the officers still outside what was going on, oh!, some sort of disturbance!. just then the other officers came out of the hotel and informed me that I was being processed for DWI, I was not pulled over, viewed by anyone and certainly not any of the police officers there, was I seen driving, operating, or in control of a car or any type of motor vehicle that entire night. So how could this happen?, what do I do now.? What are my options?, do I even have any options?!.
Obviously, you floated the above stated defenses at trial and were not believed. So at this point your protests are...
So my husband got arrested for dui in our dooryard. Our next door neighnor said they say him driving while being intoxicated so she called the cops. They showed up and the husband of the next door nieghbor walked down and punched my husband in the face in our yard. . The cop said to my husband that he was being arrested for dui. They brought him to the hospital to get his nose checked out then they brought him to the police station to do a breathalizer. Of course he blew numbers cause we were having drinks at our house. So now because the neigbor said they saw him and he blew numbers there charging him when he never was on the motorcycle. Our next door neighbor hates my husband for past issues. The cop also felt the pipes on bike and the werent even hot plus i had the key.
You have a good defense and need to preserve the statements and observations quickly. Consult a local, experienced...

You are going to need two different lawyers. You need a DUI specialist to fight the DUI. You will have to pay this...
I was jailed for 39 days after a dwi, was not told job was in jeopardy, and told when released I lost job. Unemployment denied.
I have an outstanding letter of recommendation from employer, and had been with them 4 years. I believe I am entitled to unemployment. The job and the benefits are from Putnam County NY. I was not even told that I had lost my job until I phoned them from jail to check in, and was told I had been terminated 3 weeks earlier, with no correspondence from them. Please help me.
Not sure what your question is here. I don't believe the cops have a duty to inform you your job is in jeopardy if you...
I had a DUI in NH, which i live in VT, and it was 3 yrs ago. I didn't handle my case properly and got convicted. My BF is disabled and needs me to bring him to his doctors appt and other things he needs as well. I have a different lifestyle than 3 yrs ago I don't get in trouble (arrested, ticketed etc.) I don't drink anymore. I don't think that i would get anything out of the programs, I don't live my life like that and well aware of the problems it might cause for whoever is involved. Not only for DWI fees but also the fact of what alcohol does to the body and mind. I was wondering if there was a faster way to get my license back?
First and foremost, talk to your attorney from your New Hampshire DUI. I assume your license is in Vermont. There is...
Can a person get their license reinstated in Vermont if they have a permanently revoked lic. in FL for 4 duis?
I know someone who has a permanently revoked license in Florida due to 4 DUI's. 2 out of state, and 2 in Florida. The last DUI was in May 2011 and he received his revocation in July 2011. This person has since moved to Vermont. He seems to think he can waltz down here to Florida and get an administrative hearing and get his license back just like that and be able to drive freely in Vermont. How realistic is this? I fear this person driving because he is a very active alcoholic. Will it be easy to get his license back after 4 DUI's? The last one he had a UBAL of .23. If he were to get a hardship/employment license reinstated. , would he be able to drive in Vermont? Florida law says he cannot even get an administrative hearing until 5 years after the last dui conviction.
Permanent revocation means just what it sounds like. That suspension should make him unable to obtain a license in any...
