I requested a hearing for an refusal suspension within the 15 days allotted but have not heard anything from the MVD and it has now been 75 days since the request was received by them. The statue says they must hold the hearing within 30 days. Is there anything I can do? Don't they have to follow the law like we do?

My father was convicted of DUI and was told he could complete his sentence through work release. He was previously retired but obtained a job to serve the work release. The court said he hadn't worked at his job long enough to qualify for work release and took him to the Mohave County Jail where is serving his sentence in the medical unit because at night he has to sleep with a breathing machine.
