I work for lewis tree company, we do tree work for the power company's. I just found out we might be going to Canada to do storm work. can I go? I really don't want to miss out on work.
Is there anything in your sentence/parole that keeps you from going? Like following up with a parole officer in person?...
I was walking with a friend down the street where apparently a party was to be busted. We did not attend the party and were walking away from the house when three officers came from behind a car and ran at us without announcing who they were. I put my hands up to defend my face as I thought I was getting jumped and was then tackled and cuffed by two officers. I was told I was very close to getting tazed. My friend pushed the cop away from him but wasn't cuffed. We were not aware of the cops getting out of their car or them running after us until they were right behind us. I was questioned and admitted to drinking as I laid cuffed. Their reasoning for apprehending me was for resisting arrest when I had no idea there were officers in the area. We did not run from the police either.
Your facts suggest a violation of Miranda if the police had you cuffed and asked you questions while you were cuffed...
I was charged 17 yrs ago with a DUI. I was moving to Fl. in 3 days, with my young children. At that time, I was running away from a abusive man. I was granted permission to leave the state as long as I followed up in the state of Fl. I did not follow up, and have been recently picked up by the Md. Sheriff office ( I moved back to Md. after 5 yrs in Fl.)and was incarcerated for 36. The judge allowed me to pay a cash bond, and I have 7 days to turn myself in to Pa. I am ready to this and am wondering what might happen to me. I have a clean record, and have turned my life around. Please help me so that i will not go in there blind.
You first have to answer the original charge of DUI, that will not have gone away simply because you fled the state....

I received 2 DUI's in a relatively short time-frame approximately 15 months ago. Everything, including probation and fines, has been completed in good standing, so I'm no longer under any type of court supervision. My question comes because of the fact that I have 2 DUI convictions to my name. Since I was not eligible for ARD due to the second offense, I was not able to have that charge expunged. Is there any process, or any amount of time I have to wait, in order to petition the court to have either, or both, of my DUI convictions expunged? I certainly appreciate any and all help. Thank you!
If you received ARD for the first offense, and were able to complete ARD, you can have that charge expunged now. For...
My truck was in a one car accident. Another person that was in the truck got serious injured. The cops showed up asking who truck was it, for my driver license and what happen. Than ask if I am prescribe anything, an can I drive while taking them. I past a sobriety test. Nothing else was said. The EMT came over an told me I was going to the hospital for evaluation. I was checked out an signed papers saying I did not need no further treatment. I went check on the other person in the car. Told come back 30 mins they were going to do cat scans. I left hospital called family. While I was going back to hospital about 40 mins later, a cop came up to me put arms around my chest an told me I was going to get blood work done. I refused an asked why the an next thing I was arrested.
Yes, you will be charged with a DUI and considering there was a serious accident in this case, you could be possibly...
My first DUI was in 2012 in Montgomery County and my probation just ended May 2014. But i got charged with a 2nd DUI on Thanksgiving of this year (2014). I'm just scared because i'm graduating May 2015 and I want to get employed to a good company. I also work to pay my own rent and bills so I don't want to lose my license or go to jail. I'm not positive, but i think my BAC will be between .08 and .09. Please if anyone can help i would appreciate it. Also, are police officers allowed to make you take off glasses when doing field tests?
