A determined ex-con followed an 88-year-old man more than 10 miles from the Resorts World Casino before beating him and robbing him of $1,000, according to police. Gregory Hillman, 58, first spotted the victim after he hit it big in the South Ozone Park casino at 4:10 p.m. on Halloween and tracked him for more than an hour using a shuttle bus, the subway and another bus as the elderly man made his way home, police said. Brown announced in an official press release that a male Queens, NY basketball coach has been charged with possession of child pornography and crimes against a 15 year old he coached. A New York man walked out of court Monday shouting "praise Jesus" after he was acquitted in a bank robbery that has been described as the largest heist in Nassau County 's history. Claude Bird, 42, of the Bronx, was found not guilty on six armed robbery charges in connection with a $241,000 theft from the European American Bank in Lake Success in 1993. Comment?
