They obviously took me to jail. I was there for about an hour before they decided what my bond would me. I was not read the Miranda rights until after the second breathlyzer.I then called my Grandparents, they bonded me out. Within 2.5 hours of being there I was released. However, it really confused me when they handed me my keys and said "If you dont remember where your car is, its at xxxxx road" Is this unusual? If I was drunk enough to go to jail, why would they hand me my keys and remind me where my car was. I was never put into the "drunk tank" or even in a cell for all that matters. Is this the typical prodcedure? Ive never had a DUI before. Also, is there anywhere online I can get help with for filing a hearing to extend my license? The pink slip they give you..?

I know this deal is to be made with the prosecutor, but when and how? At the assigned court date, at the administrative hearing? I can't afford an attorney, so will I get appointed one or none at all?
