A Luzerne County man pleaded guilty to a trespass charge in Carbon County court on Thursday and was sentenced to a prison term. Melvin Eduardo Fermaint-Ramos, 23, of Freeland, pleaded to one count of criminal trespass. Comment?

After deliberating two hours Friday, a jury convicted Daniel Pinkney and Kevin Fisher in the brutal beating of Nicholas and Martha Caputo in their Hazleton home one year ago. Six men and six women found Pinkney, 23, of West Hazleton and Fisher, 27, of Hazleton, guilty on all charges, including burglary, robbery, aggravated assault and conspiracy. 2 comments
