I am a seventeen year old in California, and will be going to court for a DUI of over .08 and reckless driving. I have already been on probation twice in the last couple years. The first time was for stealing beer, (it may have been considered robbery) so i was placed on formal probation for six months. My second time was for public intoxication and resisting arrest, resulting in 1 month house arrest and 1 year of wardship probation, but i was let off at six months for clean tests. What sentence might i face for the DUI? Will i be put in juvenile hall? What could an attorney do for me, and how much would one cost? I just need an idea of what might happen in court because i am finishing up my last semester in high school and juvenile hall will interfere with my graduation. Thank you!
Juvenile hall has not inferred with your graduation but your behavior certainly has. You are entitled to an attorney...
I was convicted of two DUIs in 2010 that will both be three years old in July. Will I need to file seperate expungement requests for each? What are the documents that I should submit to the Sonoma County courts? I cannot locate them on their website.
Thanks!
You need to call the clerks office or visit the clerks office and they will give you the forms you need to fill out....
Because he is stationed in San Diego he may not be able to appear. He has recieved an Njp as of yesterday. And will lose half his pay for 6 months Etc. I belive he blew a .10 he wasnt arrested he was giving a citation adn sent on his way with his girlfriend driving.
Unfortunately no, eventually he'll have to appear unless the lawyer is able to get the case dismissed. Costs for...
For the intake appt. So I was scheduled for the first available date Jan 7th. Which is 5 days past the 21 day requirement. They have all my paperwork, and said I cannot try tomorrow for a new appointment. I don't understand why I cant try again tomorrow, or next week to be within the 21 days? I don't want a bench warrant, or more hoops to jump through just because I'm forced into a later date when there is still time left?
Basically the "21day rule" is the time for you to contact the DUI class and you have done that already... Continue to...
I was arrested for a DUI in Santa Rosa while wine tasting from out of state. California DMV is not going to suspend my license (because of a technicality), but I understand that if I'm convicted of a DUI I will lose my privilege to drive in California for six months. How do it get it back if I take the Nevada DUI class?
If you beat the DMV you are half way there. Don't give up now!! Get a good local DUI attorney and fight for your good...

She needs to get CA ID. She also needs an attorney . She is facing one year license suspension because she was under 21...
