According to a lengthy report by Canadian publication Tri-City News , the prosecution's case against the Coquitlam, British Columbia teenager asserted that the teen targeted "mostly young, female gamers" who declined or ignored his friend requests on LoL and Twitter. Grove City police believe a local employee cost a national company thousands of dollars through giving unauthorized discounts to friends and relatives. Between Jan. 1 and April 23, the employee, a 25-year-old Columbus woman, conducted 16 cash register transactions in which she undercharged customers by a total of $2,643, having them pay only $253, a store loss prevention office told Grove City police. A Grove City man was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday in Madison County Common Pleas Court for stealing a rifle and several other items from a Mount Sterling residence. Matthew Lindsey, 34, pleaded guilty to a count of burglary and a firearm specification in the same hearing. Comment?

At 1:16 a.m. April 22, two men, one from Grove City and the other from Newark, were standing in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Kendall Place when a dark-colored, four-door car parked at the end of the street, and two other men got out and went inside a nearby apartment building. The car slowly pulled up to the two men in parking lot, and two women inside the car began talking to them. Comment?

Burglars ransacked a house and took thousands of dollars worth of possessions in a daytime burglary last week, Grove City police reported. Between 8:40 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. April 13, someone broke into a residence in the 700 block of Caffrey Cour t, causing $200 worth of damage to a rear glass sliding door and $100 in damage to a fence.
