My brother is an alcoholic. He usually goes to jail once a week or at least a few times a month. He is agressive toward family and is very violent at times. He has driven into other drivers while drunk, he has assaulted police officers, he has so many other charges. The most recent is assaulting me and throwing his daughter down the stairs. When he went to court for the 2 counts of child abuse, all he got was probation for a year. We live on a reservation. The Wind River Indian Reservation. Why does he keep getting out of trouble with the law? Why isn't he in jail for longer than a couple weeks?
