What court/state were you in? If by Co. you mean Colorado, you should post in that jurisdiction. In Arizona, if you...
My DUI was in Alaska, I asked permission of the court to move to Arizona, the motion was deemed a moot point as I am on unsupervised probation and have fulfilled my DUI classes, Interlock device, fines and community service. I want to travel to Central America the middle/end of July but my probation is not up until August 12th.. During the last two years I renewed my passport without a problem so was wondering if my travel plan will need to be postponed (which is a huge problem!)
Most judges will terminate unsupervised probation if all the terms and conditions have been met. My advice is to...
One prior DUI, no one was hurt.
I can't tell what you are asking. If your question is can I get a prior DUI felony conviction reduced to a misdemeanor...
This was a DUI case for marijuana. This is a card holder whose Medical card had expired the day before unbeknownst to him. We thought everything was open and shut and now its open again. How can they do that? He lost his license for 3 months which was a hardship and paid his fine. We thought it was behind us.

Not sure what you mean by reopened? Was the case pled to? Did it go to trial? You mentioned a license suspension, in...
I blew a .186 coming home from the bar a couple of weeks ago. I want to know if it is worth it to hire a lawyer (about $3,000) or if I will be able to get a plea bargain to reduce it to a normal DUI which has lesser penalties with just a public defender. I don't want to waste money but I want to have the best shot at getting this reduced to decrease headaches for my whole next year.
Speak to a couple of different experienced lawyers to see what your best option are. If you are looking strictly for a...
My Father has his CDL and has been driving a truck for like 10-15 years now. He’s NEVER been in trouble with the law EVER before. He's a really good guy, honest and hardworking. He out of nowhere got 18 blood clots throughout his lungs and 1 pass through his heart, and he survived. He’s lucky to be alive. The 1st night out of the hospital he got charged with a DUI and the Officer’s didn’t even keep him in custody they didn’t even impound the car. He’s on new medicine for his clots and it was the first time he had operated a vehicle since being released from hospital. It’s been 3 months N he’s working again, N his boss just pulled him from his Truck saying the insurance company won’t insure him anymore! Is there anyways around this? I mean he’s not convicted and he passed the DOT physical
Probably should have fought the DUI--if its still pending he should have a lawyer for that. The insurance can do...
