I was driving home and totalled my car Thankfully no one else was involved.
You should plead no contest if you want to lose your license, be convicted and have this on your record. Otherwise, you...
On Feb 28th 2012 i was backing out of a drive way and tapped a car behind me. A man came out of no where and jumped on the hood of my car (In his under ware) so i hit the car again by mistake cause he scared me. The police showed up, did not give me a sobrity test, just cuffed me and threw me in the police car and took me to jail. I refused the breath test because i had, had 1 and a half rum and cokes and didn't know how much that would show on the test.
In most jurisdictions, the administrative consequences on your driver's license are independent of the results in the...
No breath test no one else injured no field sobriety tests, police think i was drunk but I wasn't at all I was in shock from the accident.
This is a very detailed, and therefore very recognizable, description of an event. I believe you should refrain from...
In April 2012 I was involved In a small fender bender. An SUV swerved into my lane, without signaling, trying to get around a stopped vehicle turning left. Because of this I struck the rear of his vehicle at a low rate of speed. There was NO damage to the other SUV and minimal damage to my sedan (grille damage estimated at $275) we decided not to pursue. 6 months later I receive notice the other driver is going after my insurance company. I am found at fault and the other driver is paid out $21,000 for a whiplash claim (14 k medical 7 k payout) he did not claim any property damage. I have picture of both vehicles on the day of the accident. And need to gather more evidence to help my appeal. Any suggestions?
What is your basis for an appeal? Your insurance company does not have any motivation to pay more on a claim then they...

If you don't have a lawyer and can't afford one, ask the court for a lawyer to be assigned to your case. There is no...
In the case, person was pulled over for speeding and upon the stop officer noticed slurring of speech. The field sobriety test was given in which the person failed and was arrested. At the police station a Breathalyzer was given in which the person blew a .205.
This person needs to consult with an experienced DUI defense attorney immediately. If you don't know of one, call an...
I am a Massachusetts resident, and received a DUI in Virginia. I was ordered to 5 days in prison, ASAP, fines, and to install an Ignition Interlock Device for 6 months in my vehicle. I've done the prison time, paid the fines, and am starting ASAP. However, I do not own a vehicle, and never drive. I live in Boston and take public transportation everywhere. My ASAP officer told the Virginia ASAP office this, and they said I had to do it anyways, even if it's a friend's car. This seems outrageous, especially considering Massachusetts doesn't make first time offenders install a IID. What can happen if I don't comply with this provision?
When you committed a crime in Virginia, you subjected yourself to the laws of that Commonwealth. Massachusetts cannot...
