Can I get my drivers license suspension dismissed for an underage drinking that happened 13 years ago??
I am a 31 year old man who lost his driving privileges when I was 17. I am eligible to recieve it back in 2018. Mainly alot of underage drinkings, dus and 2 dui's. One dui being in 2009 and the other in 1999. Anyway. I still have 2 underage drinking suspensions to serve on my drivers record, both from the year 2000. They both total 3 years of driving suspension. If I could somehow get them both expunged, than Id be eligible to recive my license in 2015. Is this possible? Do the courts and penndot ever make a special exception for such silly things that happened so long ago? I mean, we're expecting a child and I'm doing everything I can think of to get any kind of license to drive. I served 13 out of 18 years on my suspension. When will I be given a 2nd chance to drive?
I'm not optimistic that any relief can be granted. However, you should secure your full driving record from Pendot then...
I am 20, got pulled over for DUI with a .03 BAC, full time college student, can i still obtain my Physician Assistant license?
I know I am underage, I have not been called into court or anything yet. I am just terrified about my career path now. I also wanted to know if my school will find out about this and if there is anyway to get this expunged if i am charged
Since you are underage, the implications for a DUI differ from that of adults. DUI's also have an impact on health...
Other than completing all court requirements what else can I do to help my case for early termination of house arrest?
I have a 165 day house arrest that started on 7/12 as the result of 2 2nd DUIs. Im attempting to have all requirements done by the half way point & petition for early termination. Im planing a move to York Co. to be close to boyfriend & friends who are my support system. I work full time & am going back to school.Im going to transfer to finish my degree there & my job has a branch in the area & can work from home. What else can I present the judge with to help w/ my request for early termination as opposed to transfer of house arrest upon move? Letters from therapist, friends, family etc? I will be facing a hardship as I will be staying w/ an acquaintance between my lease ending 9/30 and when I am able to move down & it will be an awkward situation.Any info on what might help me sway him!

I want to move to York County in Pa from Lehigh County in Pa. Im on probation and parole. Can I transfer my probation and parole
Im moving in with my girlfriend and need to tranfer probation and parole from one county to another?
You should be able to transfer your probation so long as both counties approve this. Make sure you contact an attorney...
Charged with DUI in April, retained attorney one week later. DUI is 1st offense controlled substance, but all drugs
were prescribed and taken as prescribed due to chronic illness. Attorney did not show up at arraignment. To date, he has not filed entry of appearance. Status conference was continued for 2 more months, but I was not informed about continuance until I was already in attendance at court. Again, the attorney was nowhere in sight. I know very little about my case and have had no subsequent meetings with attorney since initial meeting in April. What information I have gotten regarding the DUI procedure has come from reading this site. My questions: What is my recourse if a retained attorney is not keeping me informed? How do I know that he is actively negotiating on my behalf or even working on my case at all? Doesn't he have a duty to keep me informed?
He does need to keep you informed but you also have a duty to keep up with your OWN case. You should contact the...
Any chance of fighting a DUI when your were not actually pulled over? Im a 19 year old college student at DeSales University.
After leaving a party a friend of mine that was walking home and was stopped by a cop. He called me and told me the cop was cool and I could just pick him up and leave. Yes I had been drinking a little but I felt fine so me and some others went to pick him up. When we pulled into the parking lot the cop made me pull over and began questioning us. After the other guys told them they were drinking I admitted to having a few beers and they breathalyzed us. Im not exactly sure what I blew yet but I passed the sobriety test and this is only my first encounter with the law. I was taken in and they took blood and Im waiting for the response. I am a criminal Justice major and this will look really bad on my record. Any chance of fighting the DUI? I dont mind getting an underage or other citations.
You need to talk to a DUI/Crim attorney. The officer is going to say that it was a consensual encounter, but if you...
