A woman accused of abusing an elderly man at an Ellicott City assisted living facility has been indicted by a grand jury in Howard County. Christina Renee Randall, a caretaker at Lighthouse Senior Living on North Ridge Road, was arrested in February on charges of second-degree assault and abuse of a vulnerable adult after police were given video footage that showed her allegedly abusing a 93-year-old Alzheimer's patient in her care. 1 comment

Howard County police have released photos of a man wanted in connection with the robbery of seven convenience stores in Elkridge, Laurel and Ellicott City in the last two months. Police said the first incident occurred on Jan. 16 at 2:07 a.m. Police said a man with a gun and his face partially covered entered a Shell gas station in the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard in Elkridge and approached an employee.
